The Rural and Junior Ambassador Awards are an opportunity for young people in our community to engage and participate in their local show, expanding their knowledge and experience, whilst sharing their skills and abilities.
Rural Ambassador Award
Open to people aged between 20 and under 30 (as at May 1, 2026). The candidate must reside in Victoria
Aims:-
- To highlight the talent, creativity and ingenuity of young rural people and in doing so encourage entrants to be role models in their local communities.
- To encourage and reward enthusiastic, skillful and industrious young people who are actively involved in their communities.
- To assist all entrants through their participation to develop strong leadership and communication qualities.
- To enable entrants to gain greater proficiency in their chosen field and also develop entrants' stature and reputation in that chosen field
VAS Ltd Rural Ambassador Award
Junior Ambassador Award
Male or female aged 16-19 years at the time of local show
Aim:-
- To support young people engage with and participate in their local agricultural society or field day.
